Why Grooming is Important for Our Furry Friends?

Grooming is more than just keeping our pets looking adorable—it’s a key ingredient for their overall well-being.
Regular grooming sessions ensure that their coats are clean, healthy, and free from pesky tangles and mats.
Mats prevent air flow in your dog’s hair and can trap moisture, which can cause irritation and sores on your dogs.
In one severe case, we noticed a dog was unable to move her tail because the mats were so tight that it cut off blood circulation to her tail. We were able to strip off the mats in the end and save the owner a trip to the vet!
And let’s not forget about those nails! Trimming those nails not only prevents discomfort and potential injuries but also maintains proper posture and joint health. Regular ear cleaning also prevents infections and discomfort caused by excessive wax buildup.
So, it’s not only about looks—it’s about keeping our beloved pets happy, comfortable, and healthy.

Our Grooming Rules
Fleas
If fleas are found on your pet while here, we will need to treat your pet immediately. A $20 fee will be added to your invoice automatically.
Late Pickup
Please collect your dog within an hour of us informing you, otherwise the daycare deal charge will apply for late pick up. Pick up after 4pm will incur an extra charge of $1/min.
Extra Charges
Please note that all grooming prices are subject to coat condition and behaviour of your pet. Tangles, matting and pelt takes time and expertise to remove. Extra charges may apply. Double-coat dogs over 10kg will incur an extra 20% on top of all our grooming services except for Bath & Deshed, which is already specifically tailored to double coated dogs.
Our Philosphy
At Wooftopia, we prioritize your dog’s comfort above all else. There are times where dematting isn’t the best option for the safety and comfort of your dog. Dematting of severely matted dogs is inhumane and not a service that we will offer. If it can’t be humanely saved, it should be removed. The good news is that hair grows back! In the meantime, your dog will be much more comfortable with mats removed, and his skin will have proper airflow to begin healing.
